Steve Vuong Nguyen, M.D.

Dr. Steve Nguyen is well known and recognized as a highly regarded expert orthopaedic surgeon with special interest in joint replacement surgery. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Stanford Medical School and Bachelor of Science degree from University of California. Dr. Steve Nguyen has advanced and mastered his skills in minimally invasive and muscle sparing joint replacement of the knees and hips. He is extensively trained in joint reconstructive surgery and orthopaedic surgeries including trauma care.

Optimotion Orthopaedics was founded in 2007 by Dr. Steve Nguyen in Orlando, Florida with a group mission is to deliver exceptional orthopaedic care resulting in faster recovery. Dr. Steve Nguyen was among the pioneers of lateral approach total knee replacement. He was one of the first to perform the innovative minimally invasive total knee replacement procedure as an outpatient procedure, drastically reducing time in the hospital, pain and recovery.

Dr Steve Nguyen offers comprehensive care to patients with simple and complex disorders of the knee and hip. There are many treatment options for patients with joint pain, deformity or injury. His goal is to return his patients to the activities they enjoy and to deliver the best possible outcomes in the shortest amount of time.
